I am a PhD student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Dr Sebastian Scherer. During my PhD, I have collaborated with NVIDIA Research, where I worked in Dr Marco Pavone's group as well as a summer at Microsoft Research working with Dr Ashish Kapoor's group.

Prior to my PhD, I earned a Masters in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University. I also have a Masters and Bachelors of Technology in Aerspace Engineering from IIT Kanpur.

I am passionate about aviation. I currently hold a FAA Private Pilot License. I am also the Founding President of The Flying Club, a CMU community organization for promoting general aviation.

Research Overview

My research is centered on achieving the safe and trustworthy deployment of AI-enabled autonomous agents in real-world settings. I am particularly interested in intelligently combining large-scale data-driven approaches with provably safe neuro-symbolic method.

Previously I have worked on deploying systems in multiple safety-critical domains like urban aerial mobility, shared airspace autonomy and autonomous driving.
